Yes, friend, it's all true. After more than six years of glorious Gumbo Rock & outrageous Outlaw Boogie at the Great Eastern, Whiskey Preachin are saddling up and setting out in search of pastures new. WP was rooted in the nurturing soil of the Eastern way back at the start of 2013, and has grown and evolved, fed on the fine bourbon and beer of this great whiskey bar. We couldn't have asked for a better home, but all good things must come to an end. It's time for WP to be movin' on.

We're not gonna leave you high and dry, though. We’re planning a series of one-off events to keep 2019 gumbo rockin’. We’re not quite done with the Eastern yet, though. Friday the 8th of March will see us going out with a bang! Señor “Butch” Mick and Shamblin “Sundance” Sexton intend to make one last stand, bringing bona fide WP classics all night long! Six years of Whiskey Preachin favourites on heavy rotation from the get-go, so be sure to make it down early as we’ll be turning up the heat from the first spin. We’re looking forward to seeing y’all as we raise a glass or two to Whiskey Preachin at the Eastern… one last time!
